Microprocessor

Processor chip is often called "Microprosessor" which is now the size has reached gigahertz.The measure is a count of processor speed in processing the information or information.Brands processors that are circulating in the market are AMD, Apple, VIA Cyrix, IBM, IDT, and Intel.

Until now microprosessor development continues and Intel still rule the world microprocessor. It is also according from Moore's Law (the law made by Gordon Moore in 1965). At that time, Moore predicted the number of transistors on integrated circuit (IC) will double every year.
This statement was updated Moore in 1995, with research that multiple double the number of transistors will only occur three times every years. Moore's Law until now a guide for Intel to develop its processor to be more reliable and faster.
Despite the growth of processor speed had experienced periods of stagnation, but growth of Intel's processor speed has increased dramatically. Many information expertise specialists around the globe, including Gordon Moore, Moore's law can hope to survive at least until the next decades (since 2008).

The key part of processor consist of :
- A control unit that links the incoming knowledge, decodes it, and sends it to the execution unit:The control unit is made up of the following elements:
1. sequencer (or monitor and logic unit) that synchronizes instruction execution with the clock speed. It also sends control signals;
2. ordinal counter that contains the address of the instruction currently being executed;
3. instruction register that contains the following instruction.

- An execution unit (or processing unit) that accomplishes tasks assigned to it by the instruction unit. The execution unit is made of the following elements:
1. The arithmetical and logic unit (written ALU). The ALU performs basic arithmetical calculations and logic functions (AND, OR, EXCLUSIVE OR, etc.);
2. The floating point unit (written FPU) that performs partial complex calculations which cannot be done by the arithmetical and logic unit.
3.The status register;
4. The accumulator register.

- A bus management unit (or input-output unit) that manages the flow of incoming and outgoing knowledge and that interfaces with method RAM;
